Ticket Images

You're tired of your phone blowing up with text messages from your drivers.  You're tired of the hassle each week of finding all those images, organizing them, and turning them into tickets you can then use to create invoices, payrolls, and broker statements.

This is why you chose Truckware!

If you scan your drivers tickets rather than having them text images, you can use the Upload Ticket Image(s) button on the Images page.  From here, everything is the same from Finding Images onward.

Your Truckware Text/SMS Number

So, where should your drivers text their ticket images to?  Each Truckware customer (i.e. carrier, or broker) is assigned a number we call the Driver Cell Phone (cause, drivers use their cell phone to send ticket images to it 🤷).  You can find yours in your Account settings page.

Give this number to your drivers and have them send their images there.  They can send one or more images at a time.  We'll respond back to let them know how many we received.  You and your drivers can read about our Text/SMS Policy to see how to opt-in and out of replies from Truckware.

Finding Images

Images that are texted to your number will show up on the Images page.  We'll indicate how many there are in that little circle next to the Images link in the nav bar.

Clicking this link will take you to a page listing all unprocessed images.  Unprocessed simply means, the image has not yet been used to create a ticket in Truckware.

While on the Images page, you can click on a Ticket Image to download it.  You can also click the 3 dots for other options.

You can Edit the image's URL or labels, but in reality, you aren't likely to have the need to do this.

You can Trash the image if you discover you will never turn it into a ticket, perhaps because it needs to be retaken and resent by the driver.  Trashed tickets will no longer show up in the unprocessed images list.

Processing Images

Finally, you can click the Process button if you want to simply view the image, or create a ticket from it.  Clicking this button will open a page with the image to the left (or on top, if you're on your mobile phone), and a ticket form to the right (or below the image, if you're on your mobile phone).

You should notice the green Analysis Complete indicator.  This lets you know that our AI has extracted as much information as it could and pre-populated the ticket form.  Fields in the form that the AI populated are indicated by the check mark to the right of the label.  In the example above, the AI found the Customer, the Job, the Ticket Number, the Date, the Regular Hours, the Truck Number, and the Driver ... pretty good.

 

If you're not ready to create the ticket yet, you can click the Cancel button.  That will take you back to the Images page.
